This place is amazing! Great views, nice design, pretty garden, and the owners are great people. The bedroom can function as a workspace as well, with walls that are nicely insulated from the weather and noise. There are heaters in every room, a completely functional kitchen, and almost everything else you could want during your stay. There’s also plenty of stores nearby, a few minutes drive away, but just far enough that it feels like your secluded from the town. I’m a musician and I stayed there with a visual artist, and though we mostly just relaxed, we both agreed the place would be perfect if we were to work on a project of any kind there. I can’t recommend staying here highly enough.

I walked through the gate and entered a beautiful garden, a fig tree to my left and a giant tomato bed to my right. I followed the garden path and smelled herbs and flowers and heard the chirps of finches and the zooms of hummingbirds. The gite welcomed me with a spacious patio, outdoor art studio, private bathroom, and GIANT kitchen (my favorite!). The cozy bedroom was upstairs offering a view of the oak-laden hills.
Using the strong wifi connection and plugging into the outlet on the outside wall of the kitchen, I worked on the patio under the shade of the vines on the overhanging trellis. It was so comfortable that I think it was the most productive remote work session I've had since the coronavirus pandemic ;) And it was a much-needed break.
